Data Center Critical Operations Engineer II

Location: Denver, CO
Schedule/Shift: Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Pay: $38.00 to $43.00 per hour

Job Summary

The Critical Data Center Operations Engineer II operates, maintains, and troubleshoots the systems that support reliable data center operations. This role works across electrical, mechanical, cooling, and fire and life safety systems, with an understanding of how changes to one system can affect others. The engineer also supports customer infrastructure projects and provides technical guidance to team members.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot critical facility systems to support uptime and reliability.
• Assess system interdependencies and the operational impact of planned work or equipment issues.
• Respond to facility issues and coordinate resolution with technicians, vendors, and customers.
• Support customer infrastructure projects while following established operational procedures.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and on the job training to team members.
• Identify opportunities to improve procedures, safety, and system performance.

Job Requirements

• Experience operating or maintaining critical electrical, mechanical, cooling, or fire and life safety systems in a data center or similar critical facility.
• Ability to troubleshoot facility systems and understand how connected systems affect one another.
• Ability to follow operational procedures and safety standards while coordinating with team members, vendors, and customers.
• Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Additional Job Details

• Direct hire position.
• Eligible for an annual bonus and equity based on individual and company performance.
• Relocation assistance and a sign on bonus may be available for qualifying candidates.
